The project
The project involved converting the drive-through lanes at several McDonald’s restaurants, replacing all existing analogue devices in the lanes with digital equipment. The restaurants concerned were McDonald’s in Sedriano, Tradate, Livorno Levante, Castiglione delle Stiviere, Verolanuova and Orzinuovi.
The electrical installations provide power and cabling for the new devices. The works involved modifying existing distribution boards and installing new circuit-breakers to suit the requirements and scope of work.
Electrical provisions were also made for the audio controller; the controller serving the inductive loops and ultrasonic sensors at the lane entrance that detect passing vehicles; the drive-through tills; and the new digital menu boards.
