The project
Il Gigante refurbished a number of outdated retail stores, completely renewing their building services and architectural design. This building was particularly dated and followed an old format that no longer reflected the "Il Gigante" identity. The entire property was therefore upgraded, from the façade to the building services. We supported the owner with the detailed design and site supervision of the mechanical and water services. As the building is in the city centre, very close to residential properties, all plant is fitted with purpose-designed silencers to minimise environmental noise emissions. Extract hoods with activated-carbon filters were also installed to reduce odours from cooking processes in the food preparation areas.
