The project
Fiordaliso Shopping Centre, owned by Eurocommercial Properties Italia S.p.A and Gruppo Finiper, is in Rozzano, a municipality south of Milan.
The shopping centre has a total floor area of approximately 64,600 m² and houses an IPER hypermarket and a shopping mall with around 130 businesses, including medium-sized retail units and shops.
Opened in September 1992, the centre was extended and refurbished in 2010. Fiordaliso boasts Italy's largest vertical garden, for which it received a Guinness World Record in September 2012.
The commissions covered several services: consultancy to support BREEAM-In-Use certification and a detailed assessment of the maintenance condition of the building services, addressing each individual system component.
