The project

Curno Shopping Centre opened in 1991 with a shopping mall containing 60 retail units and a car park with approximately 2,500 spaces. In 2005, the centre was extended to accommodate additional retail businesses. On 28 November 2019, Le "Cucine di Curno" opened: an extension housing 17 food and beverage outlets across approximately 5,500 m². This food court stands alongside the existing mall and connects directly to it. The architectural design for the extension was developed by One Works S.p.A. The commission involved assessing the maintenance condition of the building services in the existing part of the centre and preparing a maintenance plan with detailed requirements for each system component.
